How illogical Mario theories can get

You see, if you want to make a theory, there has to be evidence backing it up or at least there can't be anything that would disprove this theory. This is why a lot of MatPat theories don't hold up. If you don't research carefully, you can end up thinking of a theory that sounds really ridiculous and silly.

And I think this video just showed me the most ridiculous Mario theory I've ever heard. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mls-Nqcu… (skip to 4:45)

To anyone who can't watch the video, I'll sum it up, basically Princess Peach is the daughter of Bowser. The reason why Bowser is always kidnapping Peach is because he is the actual ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom and is trying to reclaim it. The reason why Peach is only a princess instead of a queen is because Bowser is actually the king.

... There is way too much wrong with this theory. It clearly wasn't given a lot of thought because I can think of so many more reasons against this theory than for it.

Whoever made the theory mustn't have considered Bowser Jr or the Koopalings. They're his kids. The koopalings were once considered Bowser's kids by Nintendo. So why out of all nine kids is Peach the only one that's not a koopa?
Another point is that out of all nine of Bowser's children, why would Peach be the only one who's not willing to team up with Bowser? I know relatives don't neccessarily get along all the time, but Peach shouldn't be scared of her own dad just because he wants her back.
And if Peach was one of Bowser's children, why would he try to convince Bowser Jr that Peach was Jr's mother rather than his sister? Wouldn't Peach be even more shocked that Bowser's doing this to his son? This will be continued in my last point.

Another problem about this theory is that Bowser would not want to hurt his daughter just to be malicious. I won't deny that there are fathers like that irl, but Bowser isn't one of them. Bowser was furious in Paper Jam when he saw his son severely injured. Yet he's fine hurting Peach in 3d world and Super Princess Peach.

There's also he problem that there have been a few games where it shows Bowser and Peach as babies at the same time, Yoshi's Island DS and Partners in Time to be exact. Bowser's definitely older than Peach, but he's still a toddler. How could a toddler have children?

But the biggest problem of this theory is that it unintentionally supports the idea of a dad being in love with and trying to marry his daughter. The Super Mario Wiki page has an article just about how Bowser loves Peach and tries to marry her. These include:
-King Koopa trying to marry Princess Toadstool in the Super Show.
-Bowser admitting that he hoped Peach liked him in Paper Mario
-Trying to convince Jr that Peach was his other parent
-Trying to marry peach and is completely in love with her in Super Mario Adventures.

But the biggest piece of evidence of Bowser's love for Peach, Super Paper Mario. Bowser and Peach are forced to be wed by Count Bleck, but Bowser is more than happy for this wedding to take place. Throughout the rest of the game, Bowser keeps convincing Peach that they're married. The team keeps convincing Bowser to help them by Peach sweet talking him.

... Do you think Nintendo would actually portray a pedophilic, incestual relationship between a father and a daughter?

And this is the final point. This is why you need to be careful when you write your own theories on games. Consider every game that's in the series, consider every way a character interacts with another character. It's so easy to go on the Super Mario wiki and look for how a character behaves or interacts with another character. You could probably do that with other game wikis too.
